Happening's Biography

Happening, a multi influenced band, tries to create its own kind of music mixing Post Hardcore and Alternative Rock and keeping the living energy and warmth of Punk Rock.

Determined to go faster on the french and neighbors scenes, and strong of its previous experiences, the trio decided to record a first EP before its first show. A support according to them, needed for the ambitions.
They did it in december of 2012 at Warmaudio studio and the Brise Glace to record "BIRTH", a 5 tracks EP.

After hitting the road almost everywhere in France in a year, the band just released its first album "IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SEAS" and would like to travel and play in front of a public from abroad.
Wishing as much as possible not to be classified in a genre, Happening would rather talk about bands which are inspiring to them like Thrice, Karnivool, Biffy Clyro but also more aggresives ones like Norma Jean, Feed The Rhino or Stray From The Path.
