Send The Wood Music is an indie label/communication agency based in south of France working with Europeans/French bands from rock/metal/experimental/hardcore scene.
Our activities are about helping bands to develop their music and career. Four people form Send The Wood Music. Each one of us has one or two particularities. So, you can find here help to :
- create your website with our webmaster from A to Z.
- design your website, your visual identity for albums, posters, flyers.
- develop your fan base with communication tools.
- ask for your promotion in france with a press-manager (webzine, national magazines, radios etc...)
- Distribute in france your music via our webstore for physical distribution, and then we also propose to help you about selling your music all around the world with international digital distribution.
- We also are a booking agency

 | 2000-2001 : Watching a concert at the Trästock Festival, year 2000, UK label Rage of Achilles got in contact with CoL. Pretty soon after that it was agreed that RoA was to release CoL’s debut full-length album "Cult of luna" 2002 : After the success of the first album, Earache Records contacted CoL and wanted to sign a record deal. After some negotiations CoL finally signed the contract. Immediately after that CoL entered Tonteknik Recording studios, in July 2002, to record their second album "The Beyond". CoL toured Sweden with The Haunted and the UK with Isis. After this the line up changed, drummer Marco Hildén was replaced by Thomas Hedlund and an additional keyboard player, Anders Teglund, was added as a permanent fixture. Magnus took care of the percussion and additional guitar parts. | ||
2003 : At this point touring became a lot more frequent. Late summer 2003 CoL ventured into Europe with US hardcore sensations Poison the Well, to amazing press reactions. In December the same year CoL returned to the UK for a tour with art noise merchants The Dillinger Escape Plan. The early part of 2004 was mostly dedicated to writing songs for their follow up to The Beyond. They found the time to play a few long awaited shows in Sweden and Finland, before entering Tonteknik Recording studios once again in April 2004. 2004-2005 : The recording of Salvation was done in three different sessions, thus enabling the band to take some rest and think about possible changes that needed to be done. Finally, in late July 2004 the album was complete. "Salvation" was released October 4th 2004 in Europe and Oct 19th in the US. This album marked a new era in the history of CoL, both visually and sonically. At the same time as Salvation was hitting the stores, CoL embarked on a Europe/UK headline tour, which also included Scandinavian dates. This tour introduced a new member, Fredrik Kihlberg, who joined in on percussion and clean vocals. 2005 was perhaps the most interesting year so far in the history of CoL. It started with a six week European tour, partly with American hardcore act Bleeding Through and partly by their own. This tour also saw a change in the live line-up. As Thomas couldn’t participate due to being busy playing with other bands, Magnus took over the live drumming. When the band came home they had the time to rest for about a month before departing to the US for the first tour over there. CoL supported the mighty Mastodon on the first leg of the tour, and headlined eight shows (supported by Breather Resist) on the latter part. The reception of the American audience was stunningly good for a first ever tour in the US. After the US-tour CoL did some Scandinavian and European festival shows before starting to work on the 4th full-length album Somewhere Along The Highway. 2006 : In November 2005 CoL started the recording of "Somewhere Along The Highway". The first session was located to an old octagon barn ten minutes west of Umeå. The vibe out there was perfect and seven days where spent there recording basic tracks. After some more sessions in the studio environment, Magnus mixed the last song in January 2006. Somewhere Along The Highway was released April 24th 2006 on Earache Records and was followed by a European/UK headline tour. 2008 : No need to talk more about CoL succes, they just released a wonderfull album "Eternal Kingdom" late in 2008, this release was followed by an another European tour, and also an autralian/new zealand tour ! 2009 : the first DVD of the band released "Fire was born" recorded during the last tour in the venue called "scala" in london. 2010 : CoL released an audio-book called "Eviga Riket" directly related tothe story of "Eternal Kingdom".  | BIOGRAPHY Dream and reality give battle to each other. Pushing back the frontier of dream, of reality, continually, always further. Gaining ground, extending and defending the area, the area of welfare. Civil War keeps the fire going. In 2009, Civil War released "Like Brothers" a wonderfull album really nicely written by Colin. After this release full of great criticals, the band took a 2 years break to change 80% the line up. 2012 : Strongest with this new line up Civil war started to hit the stage ground again and they are currently recording a new album. We hope a release end of year.

 | Spayroll is a french rock band formed in 1999, the band signed with Hydrophonics a local label and got a large distribution contract to release their 2 albums : "Une nuit de plus à attendre" (2004) , "D'une ame à l'autre" (2007). Between 2000 and 2008, the band played more than 300 shows in france, been support for Astonvilla, Nada Surf and played some locals festivals. 2008, the band deceided to leave Hydrophonics because they were disagree with intern musical-politic. So, they took 3 fly-tickets to Chicago and they flighted to Chicago in september 2008 to record a 3rd album called "For Motion Discomfort". In 2009, they refused a deal with the distro and they released alone "for motion discomfort". After few gigs and few months, on october 2010 the band got separated due to the singer-girl becoming mummy. Right now, the band is still off but some projects are growing... see you soon !! | |

 | Words will easily fail when attempting to describe the sonic worlds created by the Turku-based sextet Callisto, as no language can adequately convey the feelings of pathos and elegance this music evokes. Their sound is deeply rooted in the somewhat somber atmosphere so characteristic of the northern landscape they inhabit, but instead of toying with suicidal themes they seek the beauty in melancholy, and manage to make it sound strangely uplifting. Lyrically Callisto is christian but cryptic, walking a similar path as bands like Trouble or Woven Hand. Callisto began their musical exploration in 2001 inspired by such 'post-hardcore' bands as Neurosis and Breach. In mere eight years they have progressed far past any genre boundaries, from the godly racket of their early days and their first album True Nature Unfolds to the dark cinematic sophistication of Noir and ultimately to their adventurous masterpiece Providence, now released. The most striking change in Callisto's sound is the new singer Jani Ala-Hukkala, whose varied vocal styles mark a departure from the band's earlier style. The original vocalist Markus Myllykangas has not quit the band, but will instead concentrate on his guitar playing duties from now on. | ||
Never interested in repeating themselves, Callisto have taken a bold step away from their earlier, more instrumental material and composed a vocal record. The songs on Providence are built upon layers of melodies, but this is not pop music. The band colour their sound with mellotrons, prog rock overtones, some jazzy bits and other stylish influences drawn from the seventies, and wrap everything up with vocals that range from screams of anguish to peaceful melodies and beyond. Those who have adored Callisto's past works will still find a lot to digest in these majestic compositions, and also those into progressive heavyweights such as King Crimson, Landberk or Opeth are in for a real treat. Providence is produced, engineered and mixed by Jonas Olsson and mastered by Svante Forsbäck. The artwork is contributed by Martin Kvamme of Unit Delta Plus (Fantomas, Satyricon, Turbonegro).  | Spinning Black Circle was formed in Umeå, Sweden in late 2003. Starting with three guitarists the search for members began. In early 2004, with a vocalist missing in the lineup, SBC entered the studio and recorded four instrumental tracks. The recording was sent out to different vocalists and after continuous mailing of audio files, SBC finally met with Joakim Åström. He joined SBC with his lyrics, but most of all, with his amazing voice. In early 2005 SBC recorded the Hymnus Ira EP for the first time with a full lineup. With great reviews of the EP, and after great reviews of concerts in Sweden, SBC entered the studio again in May 2006. This time for a full-length, self-produced album. In the summer of 2006, after being watch during a concert in Umeå, SBC signed with the French booking/label Spay Prod. On February 6th 2007 the self-titled debut was released in France followed by a nation wide headline French tour in March. March 30 2007, the album was released by Spay Prod and Sound Pollution in Scandinavia. | |

 | BIOGRAPHIE George Dziov is a young artist from Russia. He already released 3 albums "3PA-16"; "Utra Pack" and in 2012 "Order of collector". Great mix between metal/rock/experimental influences, George is one of the younger and interresting artist we met. Russia is well known to receive as kings our European bands, we really think we should look and listen more bands in Russia. Apparently, some of them are really really good. George Dziov prove it.
